TD Summer Reading Club: DESTINATION JUNGLE!
Hey Party Animals, Let’s Go Bananas! Come monkey around at the Library this summer - join us for a journey exploring exotic & exciting creatures in the deepest jungle through stories, games and crafts. It’s going to be a swingin’ good time - no lion! For extra jungle fun at home, check out the awesome Destination Jungle website!

• Summer Reading Club runs Monday to Friday, 2 to 3pm, at the Library
• Ages 5 to 12 (independent 3’s and 4’s are welcome to come with a parent or competent older sibling)
• Register in advance ($5 for the summer) or drop-in any day for $1
• A limited number of Destination Jungle T-Shirts are available $4
• Summer Special Events!
• July 5th at 2pm - a very special jungle kickoff party featuring our favourite magician Brian Lehr - free family entertainment!
• July 23rd at 2pm - We’re super-excited for a visit from Zoo 2 U! Come see Melinda and a dozen of her furry, feathered and scaled friends!

Reading Buddies Mentorship Program
During July and August, the Library offers a reading mentoring program for elementary aged students. Reading Buddies meet once a week for 45 minutes, to read together and play spelling and word games too!The one-on-one nature of these activities helps keep reading, spelling, and other literary skills sharp over the summer!
