Local History Collection
We are very proud of our collection of local history books. Some items in this collection include books put together by local historical societies, old yearbooks (most of the years 1953-2003), and 36 years of archives of the Barrhead Leader (1980-2016).

In order to preserve this archive of valuable historical materials, this collection is for in-house use only. If you really need to take something home, photocopying is available for $0.25 per page. Research assistance beyond our collection is available, but arrangements must be made in advance.

We are always seeking additions to this collection. Please contact us if you have any items that may be suitable to add to our collection.
