A Makerspace is a shared community space where people can come together and collaborate while sharing tools, resources and knowledge. Makerspaces can include a range of equipment and instructions from industrial arts, electronic & robotic technologies and 3D prototyping to software development an digital arts.
But our space will be always improving!

3D-Printing & 3D Design
The library is proud to have our GP3D Root Plus 3D printer up and running! Our printer is capable of printing with a variety of materials however for the time being we will are only printing with PLA plastic. Printing .stl files the 3D printer is capable of bringing digital designs into the physical world. Software in the Makerspace can convert almost any 3D file into a printable .stl allowing you to use any 3D development software to design printable models. Creative Live is lecture/classroom website where innovation experts share their skills. Most classes are free with registration as they happen. Some past courses do however require payment.

We are proud to also have the LEGO EDUCATION MINDSTORMS EV3 & EXPANSION SETS. Lego Mindstorms EV3 is the third generation robot in LEGO's LEGO Mindstorms robotics line. Enabling users to design, build, program and test complex or simple robotic designs, all out of LEGO!
Installed on our MakerSpace PC computer is the LEGO Education Software for programming your LEGO robot. Don't know how to program? Do not worry as in this education software complex code has been replaced by pictographs allowing anyone to learn and execute programs!
